2014   After School Program: Sharp Program, Toronto District School Board

  • Co-lead this program at a high east Asian-population school, Dr.Norman Bethune Collegiate Institute to help students become aware of their identities, potentials and responsibilities
  • Develop multimedia workshops in which help students promote their self-awareness, cultural identity formation, self-efficacy and social engagement

  • Provide individualized lesson plans for children, teen and adult classes, which are geared towards reaching their artistic dreams
  • Created over 230 original artwork, using a variety of mediums and techniques to be displayed in art galleries, corporate collections and private homes
  • Specialize in painting (acrylic, oil, gouache, watercolour) and drawing (conte, hard pastel, soft pastel, ink, pencil, graphite, charcoal) techniques
  • Manage and organize solo and group art shows in the Toronto and Markham community for professional development

Professional Artist, Artist in Residence (A.I.R program) York Region District School Board, York Region

  • Develop art workshops that are embedded into the Ontario curriculum and linked to curriculum expectations.
  • Design, organize and perform unique 5 day workshops for grades 6-12
  • Develop educational art programs for children in painting, drawing, sculpture and collage in compliance with learning objectives and innovative art methodologies. Educate students on different topics, materials and techniques through a variety of art projects.
